Liza Maria Hanoman is a chameleon in her own right; a person with varied interests and divergent life paths. A well-read person  in her pubescent years influenced her interests in Charity and Counselling of persons within her community. Thus, in 1996 her studies in Social Work commenced. Her career began as a Counsellor to Domestic Violence Victims upon her successful completion of her Social Work education in 2002. As an avid advocate against Domestic Violence, Ms. Hanoman propelled herself into reading of the Law which she successfully completed in 2006. Thereafter, she pursued further Legal Studies in St. Augustine, Trinidad & Tobago. Upon the completion of same in 2008, Ms. Hanoman acquired her legal licensure as an Attorney at Law in Guyana and Anguilla. Ms. Hanoman’s focus areas of Legal Practice are pro bono cases (Legal Aid Cases), family law litigation, criminal law litigation, corporate litigation, arbitration, insurance litigation, financial services and regulatory compliance (financial services). In 2018, Ms. Hanoman’s served on the Magisterial Bench in the Georgetown Magistrates’ Traffic Court. Thereafter, between 2019 and 2023 she functioned as the Legal/Compliance Officer at the Guyana Integrity Commission. Today she is an In- House Content Writer in digital law, corporate services, regulatory compliance advocacy for Cyber Juris Legal, where she discusses pertinent financial and regulatory issues which relates to Guyana, South America, Caribbean region. Ms. Hanoman is an avid Fragrance Poet, Fragrance Lexicographer. A hobby which commenced in 2015 and persists.
